Mendoza, Argentina :: 1-Day Wine Tour

I’ve always wanted to do a wine tour on our travels. So, on our trip to Argentina, we purposefully scheduled a 3-day stay in Mendoza, the wine capital of the beautiful country.

Our tour guide for the Mendoza portion of the trip was Javier Eppens. The boys affectionately called him the Brad Pitt of Argentina. Ah, Javier.

Javier started our wine tour of the Luján de Cuyo province at 9:30 in the morning! Wow, these Argentinians are serious! Our first stop was the Alta VistaVineyard. We were pretty excited, but I have to say that unfortunately the architecture (built in 1899) and history of the winery were more impressive than the wine itself.
